Gary Childress

Gary Lee Childress, age 57 of Sherman Oaks, California passed away February 7, 2017 in St. George, Utah. A California native, Gary was born June 7, 1959 in Brawley and grew up on San Luis Obispo before attending San Diego State University where he studied television and film.

After college he worked in the television industry as a professional editor and graphics artist and was the recipient of many awards for his work. He is survived by parents Tommy and Sonya Childress of St. George, Utah and a brother Mark of College Park, Georgia along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at the West Side Baptist Church in St. George.
