Alan J Vincent, surrounded by his loving family, passed away January 5, 2015 from a lengthy illness. He was born January 3, 1947 in Ogden Utah to Robert and Beth Vincent. He was one of six children having three brothers and two sisters. Alan was raised in Clearfield Utah always loving to be outdoors hunting and fishing. He met Lee Marriotti in Provo Utah. They were married December 7, 1967 in the Manti Temple; they just celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. Alan was a devoted husband and father of three children, Darren, Chris, and Kimberly as well as a grandfather to six grandchildren. Alan and his family moved to Wyoming in 1974. He was employed by Jim Bridger Power Plant for over 20 years. While living in Wyoming, Alan was able to indulge in his passion for hunting and fishing with his friends and family. Alan and Lee made several life long friends in which they still stay in contact with. In 1997 Alan and Lee relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where he took a position as Vice President of Operations for Nevada Power. Due to health issues, they relocated to Saint George, Utah in 2005 where they enjoyed living by good friends and neighbors. Alan was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in several callings including, Boy Scout leader, youth teacher, counselor in the bishopric, and was a member of the high council. Through his faith he had a very strong testimony of the gospel. He is survived by his wife, Lee and their three children Darren (Kim) of Thornton, Colorado, Chris (Kat) of Austin, Texas, Kimberly of Saint George, Utah, and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Evelyn Henley, and brother Roger Vincent and several nieces and nephews.a�a�He is proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Beth and siblings, Scott, Stephen, and Jeanette. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Ridgeview Chapel located at 750 N 1000 W Saint George, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2014 from 6:00-7:30pm at the Ridgeview Chapel and also one hour prior to funeral services. Interment at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
