1949-2013

Albert passed away at his home in St. George, UT, Sunday February 3, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Santa Barbara, California, June 19, 1949 to Albert Ellis Sr. and Hazel Wiltz Ellis, the youngest of seven children . Although he endured many trials in his life, he was always joyful and loving and never lost his faith in God. When he converted to the LDS church 11 years ago his life became even more joyful. He loved people and eagerly served others. Everybody who met him loved him, and he loved them. He loved to drive, fish and thrived on exercise. He loved his family and would do anything for them. He always loved animals, especially his beloved cat, Chelsea.

He worked most of his life as a printer, and after retirement spent his time as an honest and enthusiastic handy man.

He is preceded in death by his parents and all his siblings. He is survived by his wife Judy, his mother-in-law Alma Sherman, his step-son Glenn Cornell, granddaughter Christina Cendrosky, great-granddaughters Heavyn and Kaydance Rushe and many loving nieces : Pam, Tammy, Penelope, Jameelah , Kareemah La Ronda, Raven, Kia and nephews : Michael, Patrick, Amari, Richard, Ronnie, Robert, Warren Jr., Kydolphus, Henry, Johnny, great-nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces.

There will be a viewing Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foster Hills LDS Chapel located on 912 S. 1740 E. (Foremaster), St. George, Utah.

Albert will be buried in the Goleta Cemetery, Santa Barbara , California, Friday, February 8, 2013. There will be a grave-side service at 10:00 for all who wish to attend.
