Alice Joyce Dunn, 64, passed away on the evening of February 24, 2013 at her home in Washington, Utah surrounded by her family.
Alice was born in Los Angeles, California on July, 2 1948. She was preceded in death by her loving parents R.E. Dawson of Spokane, WA, Francis Joyce Dawson of St. George, UT, and her brother David Dawson. Alice’s main joys in life were her family, career, and reading a good romance novel. After graduating from Dixie College in 1993, she began her career as a nurse at IHC where she worked for twenty years. She loved her colleagues and patients sincerely. She truly had the utmost compassion and respect for her work as a nurse. Alice touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was an extremely generous woman with an enormous heart beaming with love. Her presence will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. We miss you and love you so much Mom.
Alice is survived by her siblings Richard Dawson and Sandy Seegmiller, her seven children: five sons Keith, John, Robert, Jared, and Justin Dunn; two daughters Kendra Wilson and Krista Young, and fifteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Washington Fields 1st Ward Chapel located at 1835 South Washington Fields Road, St. George, Utah, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:30-10:45. Graveside services will be held at the Tonaquint Cemetery after Alice’s ceremony.
