Alvin Byington

Alvin G Byington of St. George, Utah age 83 passed away October 28, 2021 in St. George, Utah due to complications from a fall.  He was born in Downey, Idaho on April 12, 1938 to Arnel Byington and Daphne Gustaveson.  He married his sweetheart, Nancy Huff October 9, 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Al was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He served in many callings and served three missions.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, his daughter Cindy (Mike Sibert), his son Todd, his grandchildren Shayna Balletta, Tucker Sibert (Hollie), T.J. Sibert, Trista Sibert, Christie McNesse (Chris), Jason Harden (Katie), Taylor Byington (Lisie), Tevin Byington (Haili), and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:00am at the Cotton Manor Ward 2583 E. 350 N., St. George, Utah 84790. A viewing will be from 9:30am-10:45am prior to services at the same location.   He will be buried in the Tonaquint Cemetery.
