Armi Barnett
February 5, 1935 — February 22, 2015
Armi Kaarina Barnett died, February 22, 2015 at home, 17 days after her 80th birthday and 11 days after a stroke. She was born in Helsinki Finland to Maunu F. Sarkka and Karin A. Sandberg on Feb. 5, 1935. Armi married L. Bruce Barnett in the Los Angeles Temple June 7, 1961.
She is survived by her husband, L. Bruce Barnett. and three children; Eric Barnett of St. George, Utah, Kaisa Barnett of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and David Barnett of Millsboro, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and 3 younger brothers and a sister still living in Helsinki Finland: Ossi, Martti, and Pauli Sarkka, and Ulla Luola.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Indian Hills Ward, 1282 W. 500 S., St. George, UT. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. also at the church. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery.
