B.Earl Murie

Our dad, B. Earl Murie, died on January 17, 2011. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 26, 1927. He grew up in Enoch, Utah and also lived in Arizona and Nevada. He considered southern Utah his home.
Earl married Lucile Jackson on Dec. 31, 1945. She was his childhood sweetheart and preceded him in death on February 19, 2010.
He was honored to preside over a family of four children, Susan (Kent) Staheli, Peggy Murie, Janet (David) Jarvis, and Kelly (Tana) Murie.
Dad was veteran of the Navy and served in World War II. He considered some of his most notable accomplishments to be his service on a full time senior mission with our mother, Lucile, and their service together in the temple.
Mom and Dad were honored to have 14 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Our family lovingly extend our invitation to attend Dads funeral on Thursday, January 20 at 11:00 am at the Sky Mountain chapel, 452 N. 2600 W. In Hurricane. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the church, prior to services.
