Beverly Charlotta Babb, (Honey) 81, passed away March 22, 2018 in St. George, Utah. She was born February 25, 1937 in Logan, Utah to Blanche Folkman and Jacob Oscar Cooke. She Married Eugene Arthur Babb January 1954 in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Beverly was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her life of service was centered on the gospel and she served various callings in every auxiliary of the church. She and her husband served a mission in the St. George Temple Visitors Center and historic sites and in the Kirtland Ohio Visitor Center and historic sites. Her favorite place to serve was in the St. George Temple where she served in the Baptistry for many years.
Beverly was married to her eternal companion for 64 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was very important and has brought her great joy. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed reading, crocheting and traveling with her husband. She was a trusted and loyal friend and had a way of making everyone who entered her home feel loved and welcome.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; daughters: Vicki (Clark) Andersen, Salt Lake City, Utah; Sherri (Chris) Underwood, St. Andrews, Scotland; Jeannie Smith, Salt Lake City, Utah; Layna Scheunemann (Mark Griffiths) Sandy, Utah; Charlette (Gordon) Garff, St. George, Utah; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Tonaquint Cemetery.
