Bonnie Jean Young Hoskings, 76, passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2015, in St. George, Utah, with her loving husband of 59 years by her side. Bonnie was born April 4, 1938, in Roosevelt, Utah to Joseph and Lula Young. She grew up in the beautiful Wallsburg valley. She married the love of her life, Warren Hoskings, on March 28, 1955 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 2, 1978. They lived in Salt Lake City while raising their family and then retired in St. George, Utah. Bonnie loved her husband and family dearly. She brought joy to everyone she met, people were drawn to Bonnie because of her happy personality. She and Warren loved to travel and were fortunate to have many exciting and fun adventures throughout their lives. She loved music and enjoyed singing and playing her guitar around the bonfire which brings many wonderful memories. She is survived by her husband, Warren, and their children Brent (Jill) Hoskings of Saratoga Springs, UT; Jeannie (Mike) Mold of Vernal, UT; Kathern Mitts of Las Vegas, NV; Rob (Amy) Hoskings of Murray, UT; 10 Grandchildren: Kayli, Jeremy, Travis, Matt, Amber, Cody, Jackie, Corey, Wyatt and Hannah; and 14 Great Grandchildren; her sisters, Loa (Roy) Shepherd of Lindon, UT, and Ruby Taylor of Murray, UT.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Fred Tisdale, Glen Tisdale, Marvin Young, Carl Young, and Gerold Young; sisters Afton Shepherd and Joan Shepherd. We express our deepest thanks and appreciation to all those who have provided loving care and support to our family over the years and at this time. We love you wife, mom, grandmother, sister, and friend and will cherish our memories forever. Thank you for the joy you have brought to our lives. Funeral Services include:
Viewing Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 5-6pm at the Ivins, Utah, LDS Chapel, 200 E Old Highway 91.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00pm with a viewing from 12:45-1:45 pm at the Wallsburg, Utah, LDS Chapel, 494 W Main, Wallsburg, Utah.
Graveside dedication and interment, Wallsburg Cemetary.
