Brent Ruesch

Brent Jay Ruesch, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on November 08, 2021.  Brent was born in St. George, Utah March 25, 1965. He was born to Quimby and Aileen Ruesch. He was the 5th child born into the family. As a child, he loved spending his time wrestling, playing baseball, going hunting with his dad, and exploring the outdoors. He also loved working in the fruit stand with his Grandpa. He was a dedicated boy scout, who earned his Eagle Scout. As he got older, he attended Hurricane High and graduated in 1983. He was a dedicated mechanic who knew small engines probably better than anyone. He was very proud of all his certifications and training he pursued specializing in small engines. He loved to collect antlers, anything native american, and keys. Lots and lots of keys.

In high school he met and fell in love with  Denise Marchal. They married on November 2, 1984. They had three children together and raised their family in La Verkin Utah. As a family, he loved going hunting, camping, tinkering in the yard, fishing, and riding three wheelers / go carts.  They later divorced in 2008. He later met Kimmerle Newell Mason on August 3, 2015. They spent many loving years together. He showed Kim Southern Utah in a way she had never seen it before. A memory she will always cherish is when he took Her dad to Zion for the first time.

Being a kind and dependable father and grandfather was important to him. He is survived by his partner Kimmerle Newell Mason. His children Brittany, Justin (Adra), and Joshua. His mother Aileen Ruesch. His siblings Rex (Ariel), David (Susan), Martin, Kathy (John), Scott (Leta).  His grandchildren Kailen, Keagen, Brennen, Hailey, Penelope and Matilynn.  He was preceded in death by his father Quimby Daniel Ruesch.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00am at the LaVerkin LDS Stake Center 481 N Main St, LaVerkin, UT 84745. There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45am prior to the funeral at the same location.. Interment will be at the Laverkin City Cemetery immediately following the services.
