Brian Phipps

Brian Edward Phipps born September 28, 1980, has left this life too soon, passing on December 29, 2013 at the age of 33.

Brian's life, although short, was filled with love for his children & step children. He loved his family, friends & had a passion for the great outdoors. Brian's greatest joys came when he combined two of his great loves in life, his children & doing something outdoors with them. He loved to take them hiking, fishing, camping, swimming, basically anything he could do to teach them to enjoy life. He was devastated & heartbroken to be separated from them.

Brian was born into a loving home filled with lots of brothers & sisters. His parents, Paul D. Phipps & Vicki Lynn Chatterton Phipps were so overjoyed when he joined their family that his dad insisted he sleep on his chest every night until Brian was about 6 months old. As Brian grew up he fell in love with fishing, surfing, football, & baseball. If you couldn't find Brian, you just had to figure out where the nearest fishing hole was & you would surely find him with a line in the water.

Brian was loved by all who knew him. From childhood on, he made eternal and lifelong bonds. Brian served an honorable two year mission in Guatemala for his church. He gained a love for service and a knowledge that allowed him the opportunity to serve his country as a United States Border Patrol Agent. He served in Texas, with a short stint in Arizona. He loved his job, and loved to tell stories about the experiences he had there. Brian will never be forgotten and will be sorely missed. We know he will be met by his Eternal family in the life to come and we are blessed to know we will be with him again.

Brian is preceded in death by his Father, Paul Donald Phipps and his Brother, Timothy Sterling Phipps. He is survived by his two daughters, Bree Hazel Phipps and Adalyn Mae Phipps; his Mother, Vicki Lynn Phipps, and siblings, Caralee Kay Moore (Steve), Sterling Jack Murray (Shelley), Joanna Beth Bevins (Steve), Nathan Arnold Phipps (Kimberly), Corey Randal Phipps, Shelley Lynn Grover (Jeffrey), Nancy Jean Ramsay (Matthew), Colbey Paul Phipps (Windy), and Mary Amanda Phipps.
