Bruce Blankenburg
April 10, 1943 — December 2, 2016
Bruce Edward Blankenburg, PhD., age 73 passed away on December 2, 2016 in St. George, Utah after a short battle with a brain disease.
He was born in Hammond, Indiana to Basil Blackenburg and Ellen Miller. They used to live in Murray when he was young. He married Kathy Ash October 24, 1981 in East Lansing, Michigan and soon after moved to St. George. A few years later they built their home in Dammeron Valley, where they’ve resided ever since. They recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.
Bruce was retired from the Department of Defense-Army Division. His passions were photography and writing funny absurdities which he loved to share with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Kathy and several nieces and nephews.
