Bruce Joseph Claude
Former California resident Bruce Joseph Claude, 75, passed away June 27, 2020 peacefully at his home in Ivins, Utah.
At his request, no service will be held.
Bruce was born October 18, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, to Warren and Violet Claude.
He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Some fond memories shared by his family include RV traveling to Yellowstone and Mammoth, trips to Vegas, Frisco, Disneyland and SeaWorld (every year), Bryce Canyon, and many more. These memories will be cherished forever.
Bruce taught his family how to show respect, have integrity, be proper, and to be humble through it all. He had grace under pressure with a great sense of humor and never acknowledged his polio as a disability. He was indeed the toughest man we ever knew and we were blessed that he was our father. He was a gem who will forever be missed. His teachings, however, will live on through his family and friends.
Bruce could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. Starting out in his garage, he accomplished his dreams in the tool and die industry. Owning and operating Claude Engineering, US Thermoplastics, and Nytronics. As an entrepreneur, he designed numerous essential components for a variety of applications, he was very accomplished in his trade, but remained humble and kind. His charity work included the Special Olympics and much more.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris Claude. His children, Danny Claude (Carmen), Donna Groth (Dale), Brian Tortorella, Stacey Weatherbee (Chris), Marie Claude, Diane Arballo (Eddie), Jeanette Siers (Dave), grandchildren, Jimmy Blakey, Joseph Arballo, Samantha, DJ and Timothy Groth, Johannah, Kylee and Nathaniel Siers, Dustin and Nick Claude, Ashley Culley, Geoff, Melissa, Jacob and Ryan Claude, and great grandchildren, Bailey, Brynn and Jade.
