Bruce Fredrickson

June 10, 1940 — March 19, 2015

Bruce G. Fredrickson, our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend slipped from this life on Thurs., Mar. 19 at Dixie Regional Hospital due to heart failure.

Bruce was born on June 10, 1940 to Vernon and LaVon Clarke Fredrickson.  Bruce grew up in Avon, surrounded by a large,loving family and many friends. He graduated from South Cache High School.

Bruce loved nature and enjoyed camping, cars, music, family gatherings and people.  He never met a stranger and tried to serve others every day of his life.  He was loved by all.

Bruce had a strong testimony of the gospel and was an avid reader of the Book of Mormon.  He and his wife served in the Alabama Birmingham Mission from 2001-2003 and had many choice experiences.  Bruce also served in many positions in the church.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife Marie, son Darin (Wendy) and daughter Laresa.  Bruce was a great father to Marie's boys, Russell Ogden, deceased, Robert (Anissa) Ogden, Clay (Honna) Ogden and Luke (Tiffany) Anderson.  They have 17 grandchildren and 4 greatgrands. Also surviving are his brothers, Dawayne and Newell Fredrickson and sisters VerNae Hindeberg, Marie Archibald and JennaVee Woolf.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clark & Earl and stepson, Russell Ogden.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 11 am at the Kings Row Clubhouse at 180 N. 1100 E., Washington, UT and Saturday, April 11th at 12 noon in the LDS Church Cultural Hall at 150 South 100 East in Richmond, Utah.
