Bryant Blackner

Bryant Blackner, age 75, peacefully passed away on April 22, 2021, in Hurricane, UT. He was born on February 3, 1946 to Chloe Lewis and Melvin Blackner. He married Vianne McRae in Salt Lake on April 22, 1966. Bryant served in the Army Reserve after graduating from Granite High School. He worked at Mayfair Market, Gibbons and Reid construction, Blackner Enterprises, and the Salt Lake International Airport. He loved to camp, fish, watch World of Outlaws and Nascar and any sports that his kids and grandkids were involved in. All those that knew him would say that he was kind, friendly, loving and if he liked you, you knew it. His kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife Vianne, children Jennifer (Wade) Staley, Paul, grandchildren Nick (MaKell) Staley, Jessica (Eli) Hudson, Baylee, Hannah, Brekkyn “Tornado”, Harper and great grandchildren, Evangeline “Evie”, Quin, Mateo, Daegen, and Brooklyn. Siblings Muriel Espil, Kevin (Julie) Blackner and multiple nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Douglas (brother), and Claudia (sister).
