Carol D. Beardall, age 88, passed away August 14, 2024 in Hurricane, UT. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 2, 1936 to William (Bill) Devenish an Genevieve Johnson Devenish. She married Jonathan Bernell (Bernie) Beardall. They were married on July 18, 1952 in the Salt Lake City temple.

Carol was an avid adventurer. She loved being in the mountains, riding her bike, hunting treasurers in the desert and there wasn’t a road in Utah that she hadn’t been on or bounced across. She competed in the Huntsman Senior games and won several gold medals in cycling. She was always up for a drive or to “go” somewhere/anywhere any time.

She was a successful real estate agent/broker in Southern Utah for many years. She served as a delegate for the Utah Republican party and was active in local issues. Her daughters were fortunate to be able to fulfill one of her lifelong dreams of taking her to Ireland and visiting Devenish Island in Enniskillen, Ireland.

She is survived by her husband, Bernell: Children, Karen D. Mendenhall (Leonard), Dan Beardall (Jill), Ann Beardall, Tim Beardall (Christine), Barry Beardall (Teresa) and Becky Gelderloos (Paul). She has 19 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, William Richard Devenish II and proceeded in death by her sister Essie May (Sue) and brother Jim as well as her daughter, Genalee Beardall.

A graveside service will be held on August 17, 2024, at 9:30 am. at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
