Carol VaLoy Reynolds Esauk was just 74 years young when she was blessed to be called back into our Heavenly Fathers arms on May 4, 2014 in St. George, Utah. She was born August 15, 1939 in Roosevelt, Utah to Lyle and Bernetta Mullins Reynolds. VaLoy graduated from Union High School in Roosevelt, Utah where she was a beauty queen and an accomplished pianist.
She was courted by and eventually married to Stephen Blake Esauk on December 6, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After several wonderful years of marriage they were finally blessed to be married and sealed for time and all eternity in the St. George LDS Temple.
VaLoy and Blake moved to Salt Lake City to begin their long loving life together. They resided there for several years before moving on to Ely, Nevada for a short time then eventually (setting sail) and settling in the Las Vegas valley for 50 wonderful years. They left Las Vegas and semi-retired to Ivins, Utah.
VaLoy was a faithful and dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved traveling, playing her piano, shopping, and watching her family in all forms of sports. She was very passionate and loved to spend time with her family and friends and was a wonderful wife and THE BEST MOTHER EVER. She was blessed and loved to serve in the Las Vegas LDS Temple for 11 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 yrs. Blake Esauk, daughter Michelle Longtine, sons Stephen Blake Esauk Jr. and Brandon Lyle Easuk, 5 grandchildren Alec Lyle Esauk, Christopher and Nick Russell, and Mike and Jake Longtine, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00am at the Ivins Eighth Ward Chapel located at 290 E. 1060 S., Ivins, Utah. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to services.
Interment will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00am at the Roosevelt Utah City Cemetery.
