Cary Liston,78, a precious wife and mother, loved by many and saved by God’s grace, passed away on November 28, 2024, after a battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Born to Paul and Elva Koller on March 12, 1946, Cary was raised with her brothers, Norman and Douglas, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Cary married Paul Liston on September 5, 1976. Their relationship was characterized by a deep love for one another and devotion to God, family, and friends.
Cary trusted Christ as her Savior and became a devoted Christian who cherished the Word of God, reading through her Bible annually and hiding God’s Word in her heart. She was a faithful member of Kaysville Bible Church for over 40 years. She taught Sunday school and Bible studies, encouraging others to know her Savior and grow in their Christian faith.
Cary worked for over twenty years with Davis County in several roles including deputy county assessor. She was dedicated to serving the county and developed many dear and lasting friendships.
Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elva Koller, Cary is survived by her husband, Paul Liston; their children: Richard (Blanche) Liston, Scott (Debra) Liston, Cynthia (Kevin Anderson) Liston, Robert (Susan) Liston, Jonathan Liston, Debra (Thomas) Sadlo, Tara Liston; her twelve grandchildren; her ten great-grandchildren; her brothers: Norman (Barbara) Koller and Douglas (Rebecca) Koller; and many loved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Kaysville Bible Church located at 200 North and Flint Street in Kaysville, Utah on January 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm, followed by a meal and fellowship. All are welcome.
