Charles Maynard

Santa Clara, Utah – Charles L. Maynard, 69, passed peacefully at his home in Santa Clara, Utah surrounded by his family on August 5, 2021. He was born November 10, 1951 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Charles V. Maynard and Emma Jean (Clark) Maynard. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert, who was killed in Vietnam.

Chuck married Bambi Faith Dittmer on November 22, 1975. Together they adopted three children, Robert Charles (born in Chili 1978), Lorna Jean (born in Costa Rica 1979), and Justin Frederick (born in Costa Rica 1979). Bambi died due to cancer on June 29, 1983. Chuck married Constance (Connie) on November 26, 1988 in Heber City, Utah. With his three children and six additional children brought to the marriage by Connie, the family of 11 were joined by Ashley (October of 1989) and Michael (September of 1992) making 13 in all. Chuck’s main focus in life was on his family. He served and loved them and did his best to make everyone happy and successful in life.

He is survived by his wife (Connie), and children, Coralyn (Stephen), Sheree, Summer (Wade), Robby (Deeadra), Jamie (Troy), Lorna (Tony), Justin, Wesley, Jonathan (Sabrina), Ashley (Robert), and Michael (Emily), along with 24 grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Sherry Vogt (Blaine, WA), Cheryl (Max) Bingham, Leslie, ID, and Laurie Clark (SLC, UT).

At Chuck’s request there will be no funeral service. His ashes were spread at a place that was sacred to him.
