Cherie (Allie) Turley

Alana (Allie) Mayfield Tovey Turley returned to her Heavenly Father peacefully, at home on Sunday, July 26, 2015 surrounded by loving family and friends after several months of fighting a long and brave battle with cancer.

She was born September 13, 1961 in Salt Lake City to Arlene H. Taylor and Clifford O. Mayfield. Later adopted by loving and caring father, Gerald H. Tovey. She was married to her best friend, Delbert Turley in 2008 and loved him and his children deeply. She was previously married to Joe Jensen and they were blessed with two wonderful sons, Taylor Joel and Steele Bradley Jensen.

Alana attended Brighton High School and Brigham Young University.

She was a very uniquely wonderful woman with a great ability to influence others with her sunshine and incredible charm. She was a friend to all and served others throughout her life. She also loved animals and fed and sheltered many.

She had a special talent for creativity and color and loved to share it with others.

Alana’s time here was not long enough for those who loved her but she left us with countless beautiful memories.

A special thank you to the Michelle Johnson and Vanessa Barben with Dixie Hospice. Their special love and help will never be forgotten.

Also, a huge thank you to her family and dear friends for all their loving diligence in help and caring both during the day and long nights.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Tonaquint Cemetery, St. George, Utah.
