Craig Royce Merchant, 57
Passed away on 8/24/2012 in St. George Utah after a short but painful battle with cancer.
He was born 02/24/1955 in Richfield Utah to John Charles and Winne Marel Merchant.
He married Sheri Holt Merchant in Las Vegas Nevada on May 24, 1990.
He was raised in Richfield Utah. He moved to St. George, Utah in 1976. He worked at Wal-Mart warehouse DC 6029. He loved hunting, spending time at fish lake with his family and friends. He was part of the Washington County search and rescue. He loved riding on his Honda shadow and spending time with his grandkids Adyn Merchant and Tyler Baum.
He is survived by his wife Sheri, sons Brayden Lorentzen and Chris Merchant, Daughter Jamie Lorentzen, Brother Johnny Merchant (Paula), sisters Sara Bodily (Creig), Debbie Jolley (Phil), and many nieces and nephews. Mother in law Norma Holt, brothers in law Doug Holt (Lori), Scott Holt (Shareen), and Shane Holt (Anita).
Preceded in death by parents John and Marel, father in law Don Holt, son Michael Merchant, brother Doug Merchant (Kathy), sister Kathleen Merchant.
A celebration of life open house will be held Thursday August 30, 2012 at Northbridge Chapel cultural hall. 1080 W Arlington St. Washington Utah 84780 ( on Green Springs drive off of Great Falls drive) from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
