Craig Allen Mills, 76, of Mesquite, Nevada, passed away on June 3, 2023 at the Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins, Utah. Born on April 5, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert K. and Barbara Croft Mills, Craig graduated from Skyline High School and joined the Army as an infantryman. He served in the Vietnam War with the 199th Infantry Brigade and received a Purple Heart for his courage and bravery after being injured during his service. He was honorably discharged with the Army rank of E-4.
In his later years, Craig married Sharli Eaglehorse and together they had two children: Robbie and Renno Mills. Craig was a loving brother, son, father, and grandfather who enjoyed hiking, traveling, martial arts and socializing. He had a love for nature and experiencing different cultures. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Craig is survived by his sons Robbie, Renno (and wife McKenzie), sister Sharon Mills Green, brother Gary Mills, two granddaughters and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Karen Mills Williams.
The family wishes to thank Veterans Services and the Southern Utah Veterans Home for their kindness to Craig Mills.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Camp Williams Cemetery 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, UT 84065.
