Delores Ann Sims

Delores Ann Sims, born in Sargent, Nebraska, on January 30, 1934, peacefully passed away in St. George, Utah, on June 27, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of Emil Krbel and Agnes Woods. Delores was a devoted wife, having been married to the late Richard “Dick” Leroy Sims.

Together, they shared a lifetime of love and companionship.She is survived by her daughter, Linda Zimmerman, who will forever hold her memory close. Delores was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Tony Sims and Ricky Sims. Their spirits live on in the hearts of those who loved them. Delores’s legacy extends beyond her immediate family. She leaves behind a beautiful tapestry of life, woven with the threads of 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and warm smile touched each of their lives. 

In her free-spirited moments, Delores reveled in travel, exploring the open road with her late husband in their trusty 5th wheel. She found solace by the water, casting lines with family during fishing trips. Holidays were a time of joy, as she gathered her loved ones around her, creating cherished memories that will endure. And let us not forget her love for cards.

As we bid farewell to Delores, let us celebrate the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. May her soul find eternal peace.
