Dennis Eaton

St.George, Utah- Dennis Lloyd Eaton, age 70, passed away January 16, 2017 in St.George, Utah at Dixie Regional Medical Center with loved ones near him. He was born in Vernal, Utah on June 19, 1946 to Lloyd Elfonzo Eaton and Claudia C. Caldwell Eaton. He married Lois A. Cattoor on September 29, 1977 on Diamond Mountain by his father Lloyd.
Dennis loved to hunt and camp with his family. He enjoyed square dancing, building miniature houses from wood and also very involved with many different callings in the LDS religion.
Dennis is survived by his wife Lois Eaton of St. George. His children, Kenneth Eaton of SaltLakeCity, UT, Tiffany Eaton of Casper, Wy, Holly Jacobsen and Lance Jacobsen of Farmington, UT. and Nellie, Mike Kurz of St.George, UT. Grandchildren: Jordan Terry&Eric Terry, Joseph Worthen, Ash Jacobsen, Aspyn Jacobsen, Josie Jacobsen, Phoebe Jacobsen, Tanner Kurz, Peyton Kurz, Paisley Kurz. Great grandchild Levi Terry. His brother Cloyd Eaton and Nikell Eaton.
Funeral services will be Friday January 20, 2017 at 11:00am at the Pineview Stake Center 595 N. 2450 E. St. George, Utah. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:45 prior to services at the same location. Interment will be at the Tonaquint Cemetery and a light luncheon will be held afterwards back at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of McMillan Mortuary 435-688-8880.
