Devor Arthur Pickering, 70, passed away on August 9, 2021 peacefully in his sleep. He was born on September 27, 1950 in St. George, Utah to Wendell Winsor Pickering and Esther Jones. He married Cori Ann Pearce in the St. George, Utah temple on November 1, 1985. They remained married for 21 years until they went their separate ways.

He suffered Rheumatic fever and Bright’s disease as a child giving him kidney disease for the rest of his life. He was a shy child and hated to be the center of attention. He was loved and spoiled by his mom and she made sure others spoiled him as well. He wrecked on his brother Kim’s motorcycle and wound-up having surgery where his heart stopped for a brief time and he saw his grandparents that had passed away. After many years away up working in other locations, he ended up back home and worked construction and heavy equipment operator with his father building many different places.
