Donald Mott

Donald Barry Mott, 71 passed away at home on November 2, 2013 surrounded by his loved ones in Saint George, Utah. He was born on January 16, 1942 in Memphis, TN to Charles Louis Mott & Alice Evelyn West Mott. He married Renee Adell Frost having two sons, Steven Donald Mott & David Russell Mott. They were later divorced. He was then married to the love of his life, Connie Ilene Heaps Mott, on November 27, 1971. Joining them were her two children, Elliot Shane Barney & Melvin Shaun Barney. Blending this beautiful family, they then had their daughter, Traci Lynn Mott Kube.

He served our country in the Army from 1966-1969, was a proud Aero Space Engineer for 32 years and was held in high regard by his industry peers. Don loved motor cross racing in his younger years. Camping & fishing were just some of his many interests. His greatest love was his family.

Survived by his wife of 42 years, Connie Ilene Heaps Mott, sons, Steven Donald Mott (Ann Regan), David Russell Mott, Elliot Shane Barney, Melvin Shaun Barney (Penny Diane), daughter, Traci Lynn Mott Kube (Robert Shield). Also, survived by his 15 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren, brothers, Roger Louis Mott (Lois), Chester Glenn Mott (Sue), uncle Chester Allan Mott & cousin Toni (Jack), best friend of 55 years, Donald Thompson (Sylvia). He was preceded in death by his parents.

Music Appreciation & Celebration will be held Friday November 8, 2013 at 3:00pm at the Sunset 3rd Ward LDS Chapel 415 Westridge Dr. St. George, UT 84770. Family request casual dress.
