Donna Wheeler

She was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served faithfully in many callings.
Donna served a full-time mission with her husband for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the St. George Temple Visitor Center and Historic Sites.
Donna loved music and belonged to ward choirs and performed in smaller groups. She played in the Golden Memories Band for many years, playing at the Rehabilitation Centers in St. George and Hurricane.
Donna received her PHT degree on stage from USU in 1966. This stands for Put Hubby Through school, a wonderful gesture from the University.
Donna has been married to Ned for 55 years and they experienced many wonderful blessings together.
Surviving are Donna's three daughters, Robin (Jonathan) Lash, Marlborough, Massachusetts; Dawnett Rick) Hann, Nashua, New Hampshire; Brenda (Ryan) Heck, Blanding, Utah
Donna is survived by her sister Velma Delong of California
Donna was a caring, compassionate, loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Hurricane 20th Ward Chapel next to the WalMart west of town. A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the St. George City Cemetery.
