Dorothy Jeane Pippin

Dorothy Jeane (Patterson) Pippin, 96, passed away June 14, 2024 in Kanab, Utah. She was born November 5th, 1927 in Pratt, Kansas to Bruce and Ada (Woods) Patterson. In 1948, she went to California to visit her brother, where she met and married Ray Olen Pippin. They lived in California, where they raised their family. In 1978, after all their children were grown, they moved to Cornville, Arizona. They were married almost 63 years when Ray passed in 2011. Her faith was a big part of her life, she loved reading the Bible and going to church, as well as genealogy, roses, painting, playing piano, and traveling. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 sons Steven and Dennis, 5 brothers, 7 sisters, and son-in-law Carlos Vivar.

Her surviving family include her children Linda (Robert) St. Cyr, Pam Vivar, Tommy (Shari) Pippin, Barbara (Jonathan) Hepp, and Janie (Thomas) Turk, as well as 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
