Dorrance (Doe) Mccullen

Dorrance (Doe) Edward McCullen age 85, of St. George, Utah, formerly of Detroit , Michigan passed away December 3, 2020 at home surrounded by his beloved wife Janet Lynn McCullen and adoring Chihuahuas' Spike, Rudy, and Lucy.  His enthusiasm for life, passion for golf , and a great sense of humor will continue to be an inspiration for all of us who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Theresa Petri McCullen and his daughter Simone McCullen.  Survived by his wife Lynn and step-son Ryan D. Bowren.  He will be dearly missed by all his many friend and cousins.

Doe was an avid sports fan, of course, of his beloved alma mater the University of Michigan Wolverines, but also the Detroit Lions and Redwings.  Following graduation from the University of Michigan, Doe proudly joined the U.S. Navy to serve his country as a LTJG officer.

Doe’s career as a licensed architect gave him great joy throughout his 60 years of practice, designing many commercial buildings in both the Detroit area as well as Las Vegas that will continue on as his legacy.
