Doy Glyn Kelley passed away peacefully in his home in St. George, Utah with his wife by his side on Saturday, November 22, 2014. He was born December 26, 1928 in San Angelo, Texas to Fred and Lola Kelley. His family moved to California in the early 40's. After graduating from High School in Colton, California, he married his wife of 66 years Marilyn. They have one son David. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force. After being discharged from the Air Force, he went to work for the Rialto CA Fire Department where he retired after 22 years as Captain. After retiring, he moved to an 81 acre farm in Wisconsin where he spent 13 very happy years. He then moved to Utah and spent 14 of his remaining years in St. George. Having been raised in a Christian home, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and now abides with Him in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Marilyn and his son David Kelley, Crestline, CA. Glyn was a very kind man. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a joy to be around. He will be deeply missed. Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
