Earl Sanders Iii

May 31, 1961 — March 31, 2015

Earl Douglas Sanders lll (Doug) age 53, returned to his Heavenly Father on March 31, 2015 at Dixie Regional Hospital, St George, UT from complications due to infection.

He was born May 31, 1961 in Banning, CA. to Earl Douglas Sanders Jr. and Barbara Sanders.  Doug was never married and never had any children of his own but he was like a father to all his nieces and nephews.

Doug was raised in Banning, Redlands, and Hesperia, CA. He graduated Apple Valley High School in 1979 in Hesperia, CA. After graduating High School he worked as a Baker for Safeway in Los Angeles, CA, then moving to Albuquerque, NM, he worked in a family owned Bakery. He then moved to St. George, UT and worked as a Bakery Manager for Lin’s Market until he retired for medical purposes. Doug was a member of the LDS church. He had a very strong testimony.

Doug had many interests & hobbies. He loved music and played the guitar. He loved to cook and bake. He loved sports, football and wrestling, Kansas City Chiefs was his team. He loved hunting and fishing especially with his nieces and nephews. He loved to travel but his health kept him from traveling the last 13 yrs. He loved working on computers. He loved his little dog, Monkey and he especially loved his family.

Doug was preceded in death by his mother Barbara and  brother Chuck. He is survived by his father Earl D Sanders Jr and his step mom Tari Sanders, also his 2 sisters Earliene Gallagher, Leeshia Severance and 13 step brothers and sisters, plus all his nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on April 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the LDS Green Valley Stake Center, 511 S. Valley View Dr.
