Eldon Fite

Eldon Eugene Fite died at the age of 89. He was born 1/31/1925 in Kirksville, MO to Williard and Alvah Fite.
At the age of 10 Eldon moved to Idaho, and graduated from Payette High School. In 1944 he moved to Twin Falls, ID.
He married Lavaun Hyde Nov 3, 1946. They had 5 daughters. Sandra Manker, Delaine (Mike) Smith, Elvauna (Ron) Lloyd, Marva (Kim) Berger, Patrica (Mike) Zahm. 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Eldon retired from the USPS as a letter carrier in 1980, and then moved to Fairfield, ID. They enjoyed their winters in St George and moved there in 2003 where they spent their remaining years.
Eldon once said that what he wanted in life was to be an honest hardworking loving family man.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lavaun (Hyde) Fite, one grandson, Lance Berger and a great grandson Jaden Berger, and son-in-law Ted Manker.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00am at Sunset Memorial Park located at 2296 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho, 83301. There will be a viewing from 9:30-10:30am at the LDS Chapel located at 2680 Elizabeth Boulevard, Twin Falls, Idaho, that same day
