Eleanor Carter

Eleanor Jewell Hawk Carter died December 23, 2016 in St. George, Utah. Eleanor was born November 9, 1919 in Havelock, Iowa to Lewis Herman Hawk and Esther Mae Eno. She had one older brother Lewis Hollister and two younger brothers, Russell Keith and Merlin Harvey. The family moved to Long Beach, CA in 1935. Eleanor met Dell Earl Carter and they were married on July 23, 1940.
Three children came to them: Sharon Lea, Janece Ellen and Jeffrey Dell. Eleanor has 15 grandchildren, 42 (soon to be 43) great grandchildren and one (soon to be two) great great grandchildren.
She will be interred beside Dell in the Riverside Thomas Cemetery in Blackfoot, Idaho on January 2, 2017. There will be a short graveside service at 1:00 p.m. and then a memorial service at the Thomas LDS Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be shared at mcmillanmortuary.com
