Elia Ogden

Elia Marie Ogden passed away on May 16, 2021 in St. George, Utah.  She was born in Gallena, New Mexico on April 17, 1940 to Antonio and Tamasita Cordova. At the age of 12, Elia moved with her family to Ephraim, Utah where she later met the love of her life, Jerry Ogden.  They were wed on February 16, 1963 and later moved to McGill, Nevada where they built a home and had three children: John (Priscilla), Jeff (Tiffany), Tracie (Brian).

Elia was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting as well as visiting with her friends and family.  Her greatest joy was being largely involved with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by Jerry her loving husband of 58 years, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brothers Don (Delma) Cordova and Tony Cordova, and her sisters Cordi (Terry) Ogden, and Martha (Rennell) Barney. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Celia Anderson, and brother Louis Cordova.

She is loved and will be deeply missed by all.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00am at the Monroe Cemetery Monroe Utah.
