Ellis Darrell Eborn returned to his Father in Heaven from his St. George, UT home, October 22, 2024 after a long and trying illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jeannine Armatage Eborn whom he married August 30, 1957 in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is also survived by children Gregory Eborn (Laura), Jeanne Hoddenbach (Jim), Jonathan Eborn (Stephanie), and surviving spouses of deceased children, Warren Stout (Lory) and Michelle Eborn (Chris), siblings Bart Eborn, Brenda Dopp, Nina Pugmire, Reed Eborn and Mark Eborn.
Proceeded in death by children Christopher Eborn and Lory Stout and parents Darrell and Edna Eborn. He had been blessed with 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
He was born in Lanark, ID on March 6, 1937 and graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Geology. He was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, became a Navigator, served in Vietnam and subsequently flew with the Utah Air National Guard reaching the rank of Major. He retired as a real estate broker after 32 years. He lived in Bountiful, UT for 44 years and St George for 14.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Bountiful 30th Ward 650 E 2150 South, Bountiful, UT.
There will be a viewing prior to the services from 11:30-12:45 pm.
Internment will be in the Bountiful Cemetery.
