Elva Albrecht Ellett passed away on July 22, 2014 at her home from complications of a stroke at the age of 76. Elva was born on March 16th, 1938 in Fremont, Utah to Clarence Jacob and Elizabeth Delilah Day Albrecht.

She grew up in "Wayne County" and had fond memories of living on the farm and doing all the chores with her siblings such as milking the cows, feeding the chickens and throwing rocks at the milkman who several years later this milkman became her husband.

She married ReVon B Ellett on December 21, 1955 in the Manti LDS temple and together they have four children, Ronald ReVon, Diane, Douglas and Pauline. They lived in the Wayne County area and then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962 where ReVon's work lead them there. They moved to St. George, Utah in 1968 and this is where they raised their family.
Elva loved being in St. George and she has many friends and family that loved being around her. She worked at Dixie College for many years and then she went to work at Dixie Regional Medical Center working both places in the kitchen preparing meals for many people. She retired in 1990 due to heart health issues.

She and her husband served an 18 month mission for LDS Church in Oakland, California Temple Visitor's Center from 2002 to 2003 and they also served for many months at the Cove Fort, Mission. Elva has held many church callings throughout her life in all the auxiliaries on both a ward and stake level. She enjoyed being with her family and spending time with them camping, deer hunting, bottling fruit and vegetables. She was a great cook and was famous for her homemade noodles and rolls. She loved Christmas and made this time so fun for her family.

She is survived by her sweet husband ReVon B Ellett, children Ronald ReVon (Julie) Ellett, of Ivins, Utah; Douglas (Elizabeth) Ellett and Pauline (Scott) Bale both from St George, Utah, 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Siblings Reah (Stanley) Baker, Murray, Utah, Patsy (Quentin) Wells SLC, Utah and a sister-in-law Beverly Albrecht of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Coy Torgerson Cox, Kelvin Craig Albrecht, Marva Albrecht, daughter Diane Cox and a grandson Clintin D Ellett.
The family would like to thank Dr. Scott Parkinson, Dixie Hospice Care and the Morningside 6th Ward for their compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00am at the Morningside 6th Ward LDS Chapel located at 900 S. 700 E. St. George, Utah. Viewings will take place on Friday August 1, 2014 from 6-8pm then on Saturday August 2, 2014 at 9:30-10:30am at the same location. Burial will take place at the Tonaquint Cemetery following the services.
