On Sunday, February 1, 2015, Ernie, age 57, went to live with Jesus. He left from his home in Desert Springs, Arizona, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in San Francisco, California, on August 13, 1957 to Grant and Joyce Jensen and was raised there until his teen years.
He then moved to St. George, Utah, with his family where he graduated high school. He enjoyed spending time with family, going camping, watching movies, and swimming at the beach. But most of all, his favorite thing to do was to bear his testimony of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He was a devout father always seeking to form a relationship with each of his children. Not only was he a very diligent, attentive husband, but he loved to mentor anyone in need, especially the youth.
He is survived by his lovely wife, Anna Jensen, and many remarkable children.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church, 2299 West 2000 North, St. George, UT. A Viewing will be held from 9 - 10 am. Interment will be in a private family cemetery in Beryl.
