Florence Davis

Florence Shirley Sanders Davis, age 71, of St. George, returned home to our loving Heavenly Father’s arms June 13, 2012. She was born September 5, 1940, to Edward Sanders and Florence Mae O’Dell of West Milford, New Jersey. Shirley moved to St. George in October 1977. Her career as an institutional cook pleased the many people she served. She was hard working and a very kind and loving mother. Her love will be very much missed. Shirley is survived by her two sons: Robert Joseph Davis of St. George; and Thomas Edward Davis, Stationed in Stuttgart, Germany; sisters: Hilda Miller of Bend, Oregon; Armenia Sanders of Lower Lake, California; and brother: Leonard Sanders of New York state. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 2012, at 12:00 p.m. A viewing will be at 10:30 a.m. at the Buena Vista Stake, Sagecreek Ward, Capilla Building, 807 W Capilla Rd., Washington. Interment in the Washington City Cemetery
