Frances M. Thuringer died peacefully in her sleep on August 14th, 2013 at the age of 79 due to complication of cancer. The daughter of Michael and Jessie Davis, she was born on March 24, 1934 in Sacramento, California.
She moved with her family to Santa Cruz, California in 1946 where is attended Mission Hill High School. She was married to George Espinosa in 1951; they had two children Steven and Renee. While her children were in high school, she attend night school to obtain her GED and later earned an Associate of Arts degree from Cabrillo Junior College at the age of 39. She was subsequently employed for many years as a medical insurance specialist.
George and Frances divorced in 1987 and in 1997 she married Roy Thuringer. Frances and Roy moved to Saint George, Utah in 2007. She remained happily married to Roy until the time of her death. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her husband Roy, her two children Steven and Renee, four grandchildren Chandra, Laurinda, Ben and Evan, two great-grandchildren Chase and Aubrey, a sister Patricia Civatello and a brother David Davis.
A reception and Celebration of Frances' life will be held at a later date.
