Frederick Bruner

November 5, 1942 — November 20, 2017

Fred Bruner died quietly in his sleep on November 20, 2017 at the age of 75. He was born in Havre, Montana in 1942 and spent many of his early adult years in Pueblo Colorado until finally settling in Casper, Wyoming in 1973 where he married Janet and raised his 3 children. He made a wealth of life-long friends during his 25-year career as a Farm Bureau insurance agent and served the community through his service on the city’s Water Board and Casper Area Economic Development Alliance. He was also an articulate and long-winded member of the Casper morning Toastmasters Club for over 30 years. Fred had a passion for golfing, playing on courses around the country and internationally. He also loved to fish and spent many years enjoying the outdoors which afforded him the opportunity to become an incredibly talented wildlife and scenic photographer.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janet, his children Kent Bruner- Colorado, Dawna Riggins and her husband Jim - Texas and Holly Wilson - Colorado. Family also mourning his loss is brother Phil Bruner and his wife Carmy, sister Mary Reiter and her husband Ber and brother Bryce Penny and his wife Elaine.  He will also be missed by grandchildren Phillip, David, Sydney and Logan and great-grandchildren Hunter, Kolt and Phoenix.

Memorial services are pending in Casper Wyoming in the summer of 2018.
