George William Belt, 92, was finally allowed to "Chase Geneva" and died Sunday, November 19th from a serious infection.
He was born February 9, 1925, in Norborn, MO to Clifton and Pauline Belt.
He was proceeded in death by his "soul mate" and wife of 64 years, Geneva. He is survived by his Sister, Betty Brenneman and five children, Donna Sue (Bob) Fender, Cliff (Lisa) Belt, Richard (Kimmie) Belt, Ted (Debbie) Belt and Beckie (Rick) Bonewell, as well as 21 grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
George served as a radioman during World War II and retired as a District Supervisor from the Union Pacific Railroad after raising his five children. He spent his remaining years very actively serving his friends and neighbors as well as caring for his sweetheart, and continued to valiantly fulfill his church callings.
George will be remembered lovingly by the many lives he touched and the legacy he left all of us.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel located at 259 N. Mall Drive with a viewing held prior from 9:30-10:45. Interment will be at Tonaquint Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at mcmillanmortuary.com
