George J. “Sonny” Mehlwitz, 72, of St. George Utah, passed away September 11, 2011 at Dixie Regional Medical Center. He was born in San Francisco, California on June 30, 1939 and proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1956 to 1959.
He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley of 36 years, his son and daughter-in-law Mylan and Nicole Olson of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 16, 2011, at 3pm at New Promise Lutheran Church, Valley View Drive, St. George, Utah.
