Glendon J Reber, 85, passed away peacefully Dec. 20, 2020 at his home in St. George UT. He was born in St George July 20, 1935 to Myrtle and Ralston Reber of Mesquite NV. He married Judith Marlene Diederich on May 12,1956 and they were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple on December 19, 1964.
Glen was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his six siblings: Dennis (Lynn), Darlene Reese (Kenley), Samuel (Pat), Grant (Kathe), Mary Andrus (Jim) and Helen Bunnell (Wayne). He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Marlene, two sons, Randy J (Tammie) and Ricky J (Michelle), a daughter Pamela K Duncan (Cory), a foster daughter, Anita, five grandsons, five granddaughters and seven great grandchildren.
Some of his favorite things included: boating, camping with family, dancing, musicals, horse races, football, boxing, rodeos, his Camaro and long drives on the weekend. He never missed an opportunity to tell a few stories reminiscing about the past. He had a big heart and would help anyone who was in need. He served in the bishopric of the Vista, CA 7th ward and an LDS church mission with his wife, Marlene in the Vista Stake employment office.
He retired from the corrugated packaging industry after 46 years. Starting at the age of 17 he worked his way up from production worker to plant manager. His long career took him to work at various companies including: Weyerhaeuser, CCA, Inland Temple, Southwest Container.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11:00am at the Indian Hills Chapel 1282 500 S. Circle, St. George Utah 84770; due to Covid restrictions, it will be live streamed on mcmillanmortuary.com website. A viewing will go from 9:30 to 10:45am prior to services at the same location.
Graveside services will be in Bunkerville NV following his memorial at the Bunkerville Cemetery.
