St. George, Utah - Glenn Alan Moutray, 88, died Saturday, July 25, 2015 due to complications from a fall on Friday morning.
He leaves his wife of 55 years Joyce Marcene (Gessel) Moutray, his daughter Suzanne Ford, and his son Michael Miller and wife Patrice Frehner. He has a surviving sister Dolores Emberlin and husband Joe. He also leaves 9 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and many close friends.
Glenn was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Chester and Pearl Williams Moutray. As a young man just out of high school, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he lived for 35 years. He and Marcene moved to St. George, Utah in 1980.
He managed two Chevron gas stations in Ls Vegas, Nevada where he used his excellent mechanical skills. He had a great love for cars and motorcycles-especially Harley-Davidsons. His last job was working in the Material Management department of the Dixie Regional Hospital.
Glenn was known and loved as a friendly and kind husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, neighbor, and as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Bloomington Hills Eighth Ward. He will be sorely missed by all.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11:00am at the Bloomington Hills Chapel located at 1222 E. Brigham Road, St. George, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:45am at the same location.
