Harold Lee Birkeland 1935-2024
On February 25, 2024 Hal peacefully passed away, Hal was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He was married to the love of his life Patsy for 66 years. He was an only child of Harold and Thelma Timmons Birkeland.
He worked in sales for most of his career and also for the Delta Center for 10 years before retiring to St. George where he could enjoy his love for golf. He had many callings in the LDS church.
He enjoyed painting, golfing and was a member of the SPEBSQSA Barbershop singing group for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Patsy, daughter Pam (Paul) sons Mark and Scott. Also, 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents and one great grandchild.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the Snow Canyon 13th Ward, 1610 N. Dixie Downs Rd. St. George, Utah 84770 from 5:00-7:00pm. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, Utah 84120 from 12:00-1:00 pm. The graveside will follow at 1:00 pm.
