Howard Ralph Starr

H. Ralph Starr passed away April 4, 2022 in St. George, Utah.  He was born September 26, 1942 in St. George, Utah to Howard and Iris Huntsman Starr.  Private family services were held.

The following is a bio written in Ralph’s own words:

“I reside in St. George, Utah where I have lived off and on for over half of the last 30 years.  Since high school, I attended institutions of higher education in the West and Midwest.  I graduated with my Doctorate from Utah State University in 1972.  I spent part of my career as a teacher and administrator in public and higher education.  I have held a variety of roles in government service and the private sector.  During much of the 1980’s and the 1990’s, I was principal of my consulting firm supplying investment banking and financial advice to clients throughout the county.  I have been fortunate to basically be my own boss for the past 30 years.  I retired in 2004.  I have been married three times, The past 25 years married to my best friend.  I have 4 sons and 10 grandchildren.  I enjoy music, reading, writing, good food and drink.  I spend most of my days in the peaceful exploration of spirituality”.
