Iva Reeve

January 14, 1925- January 15, 2023

Iva Reeve was born and raised in Hurricane Utah. Iva was one of eight children born to John Edgar Gibson and Wealthy Workman Gibson. She married Ashby (Hap) Reeve on November 12, 1942 in the St. George Utah Temple for time and all eternity.

Iva celebrated her 98th birthday on January 14, 2023 with some of her family. Iva passed early the next morning.

Iva and Ashby had 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 34 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild. Iva is survived by children Vicky Hansen of Mapleton, UT; Artie (Steve) Stratton of Las Vegas, NV; Iva Lyn (Neil) Wright of Hurricane, UT and Bernice Reeve of Hurricane, UT. Iva is reunited in death with her husband, Ashby and son, John Reeve.

We would like to give special thanks to the Hospice nurses at Intermountain Hospice for their dedication and loving care to Iva.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Stake Center, 677 South 700 West. A visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 am. Interment will be at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
