Jack Gregory

Jack Gregory, 94, of St George, Utah, passed away peacefully at his home on Jan 20, 2023. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on May 5, 1928, to John Gregory and Merna Smiley.

Jack was raised in Long Beach, California, where he attended school, graduating from Southern California Military Academy in 1946. He also attended Pepperdine University and Long Beach State College.

He served in the United States Coast Guard and the Korean War. His last duty assignment was in the Philippines as Yeoman to the District Commander.

Jack married Dian Douglas in 1958, raising four children: Doug (Cheryl), Robert (Diana), John (Maria), Jackie (Todd). Jack and Dian raised their family in Southern California and moved to St George, Utah in 1994. He was a life-long salesman and business owner and the co-owner of Western Shirt line, a company he founded and later retired in 1994.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was baptized in 2008, at the age of 80 and sealed to Dian in 2009 in the St George temple.

Jack is survived by his 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Tonaquint Cemetery.
