Jacquelyn Bagby, 77, passed away peacefully in St. George, Utah on November 24, 2014. Jacquelyn was born on February 19, 1923, the seventh of ten children born to James and Lula Bryan in Jacksonville, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents, three of her siblings and her daughter, Lisa Friedel, and leaves her beloved husband, Grover Carl Bagby to cherish her memory along with their 5 surviving children; Susan Hughes (Brian), Nancy Benge Goldfarb (Eric), Chris Bagby (Shirley), Dana Bedford and Jennifer Bonk (Steven). She will be lovingly remembered and honored by her 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and greatly missed by numerous extended family members and friends. Jacquelyn and Carl were married on June 6, 1970 and were sealed in the Provo, Utah LDS Temple. As a faithful and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Jacquelyn joyfully served in many capacities, and she particularly enjoyed the time she spent as a temple worker in both the Orlando, Florida and the St. George, Utah LDS temples. Jacquelyn was a beautiful example of grace and service and she blessed countless lives through her selfless service. An accomplished gardener, she delighted in the beauty of nature and was a gifted homemaker who beautified everything around her. Her deep faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ, her love of life and beauty and her years of dedicated service will be a lasting influence on her family. We will bid a sweet farewell to Jacquelyn on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS chapel 82 N. Dixie Drive, St. George, UT. Viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will follow at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 So. Dixie Drive, ST. George UT.
