James Kennedy
February 11, 1934 — June 27, 2015
James H. Kennedy, born February 11, 1934 to Harry and Gladys, passed away at his home in St. George, Utah on June 27, 2015. Dad served as a member of Platoon 351 in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1951. He was dedicated and worked hard to support his family. He worked at the Eimco Foundry and retired from Portland Cement, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dad enjoyed playing golf and won several Hole-in-One awards. Dad had a sense of humor and smile that will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by Merrilyn Kennedy, his children Denise (Mark) Saunders, Teina (David) Pardue, Jeannine Kennedy, and James J. Kennedy, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren . He is also survived by his brothers Jerry Kennedy, John Kennedy, Neil Kennedy and sisters, Marion Kennedy and Suzanne Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Brent Kennedy, and son, Gary Kennedy.
An open house to remember Dad will be held on July 18, 2015 from 2-4 PM at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West Riverton, Utah.
